There is a great day coming when Jesus will return

One will be left and the other will be taken
How can we escape if we ignore such a great
Salvation
People will rise they will meet Him in the air

The heavens will roll up like a robe
Everything will be laid bare everything will
Be exposed
The motives of our hearts will be seen for what
They are
And then the dead great and small will stand before
The throne
Each will receive praise from God or be judged for
What they’ve done
What can stand will survive our God is a
Consuming fire

Then the moment will come when those from every
Tribe and tongue
Will gather round the throne all purchased with
His blood
We will be the holy city the new Jerusalem
The radiant Bride there by His side
By the mercy of God holy and blameless in His sight
He will be our God and we will be His forever
And we’ll join with the angels to sing Holy holy
Holy is the Lord God Almighty who was and is and is
To come
And is worthy of all honour and praise

Come and drink of this life
