There Is A River

There is a river
That flows from the heart of God
It’s waters are teeming
With the Father’s love
Though the earth trembles
And mountains fall into the sea
I’ll run to the river
Here I find my peace

There is a fountain
With healing in its streams
Drawn from the Saviour
Lost souls to redeem
Here I’m forgiven
My sins are tossed in the sea
So I’ll drink from the fountain
Here You meet my need

There is a city
A stronghold of our God
There we find refuge
When the battles come
You are my fortress
Put all of my rivals to shame
So I’ll rest in Your city
Home for all my days
