To The One God

There are shadows cast across the sun
From the darkness of our hearts
From the barricades and prejudice
That can tear this world apart
And so Lord we come to find in You
A clear and guiding light
That can shine beyond our diff'rences
With a Spirit that unites

You are Father God to everyone
From the greatest to the least
To the powerful and the powerless
In the west and in the east
And now Lord we long to bring to you
Our undivided hearts
To be melted by the fire of love
Into You to be a part

Through the nails that held You to the cross
That were forged within love's flame
To the promise of eternal life
That is signed in Jesus' name
By the grace of One who died for all
And rose to life again
You have shown Your love for all the world
Has no limits and no end
